This year’s fête will take place on the village green on Saturday 10th June, with an afternoon of fun for all the family. This year funds are being raised for the Princess Royal Trust for Carers in Hampshire as well as our village hall, parish church and other local causes.
As 2017 is the 900th anniversary of our local church, St Leonard’s, the fête will be celebrating 900 years of our community, and Historia Normannis, a 12th century reenactment group, will come along to give us an idea of what life would have been like in Norman England.
All of the usual attractions will of course be there, like the fun dog show, bouncy castles and other amusements for children, a wide range of stalls including a craft marquee, and lots of choices for eating and drinking.
If you or your organisation would like to have a presence at the fête, booking for stalls is now open: complete the stall booking form to apply for a pitch.
Details of how to advertise in the show programme will shortly be available – For the latest updates see the Sherfield Village Fete website
