Happy Faces Playgroup is a thriving local group which has been based at the Village Hall for several decades, taking full advantage of the Liddell Hall and the enclosed garden area.
Their activities are extensive and they enjoy using the Hall for education and play.
A small number of Happy Faces children recently visited the residents of the Cherry Blossom care Home in Bramley with the view of arranging an ongoing visitation programme between the two. The visit involved games and singing with further activities including crafts and gardening planned for future visits. Both the children and residents enjoyed the visit.
As shown in a recent Channel 4 documentary, this kind of community driven programme provide a highly valuable and positive experience for both.
